Baby Jogger City Mini
The City Mini is an ordinary full-size stroller. It's only notable because it is light and compact. It also does well in all our categories, although it does not score as well as some of the other models because of a poorly placed windows and storage that is somewhat restricted.
However, this is an excellent stroller, and one of our top choices for families who require something that will get them through the day and occasional adventure. It has a wide footrest and is cushioned, so children will be comfortable. The seat reclines to a pretty flat position but we found that it was somewhat difficult to adjust and took two hands. The adjustable calf support is a nice feature and will allow your child to kick up their feet if they're tired.
Like many of the other strollers on our list The City Mini has a huge canopy that is UV50 and that parents love. The sun shade is beautifully constructed and is able to pull all the way down, which is great as it will keep your child safe from sun without the need to keep tucking it back in place.
Another excellent feature of the City Mini is that it is able to be converted into a double stroller by simply attaching an add-on kit. This gives you the option of using any Baby Jogger car seat and creating a travel system right from the beginning. The only drawback is the fact that adding a second seat to the stroller changes its appearance and feel. Some parents might find this difficult to manage after they get used to it.
Another alternative to the City Mini is the City Mini GT Double Stroller. It is a bit more expensive than the single City Mini but it does have additional features, including "forever air" rubber suspension and tyres that make it suitable for off-roading. It also has an adjustable handlebar and a hand-operated parking brake, which makes it more user-friendly than the standard City Mini.
